<p><a href="http://designinstruct.com/web-design/proper-standards-compliant-color-use-in-web-design/"><br />
<blockquote>As designers who’d like to turn our creations into works of art, we want to design towards our heart’s content — letting our eyes be the final judge of our masterpieces. But as we all know, creating a web page is different from creating a painting — with a painting, we can freely express ourselves on the canvas. However, with a web page, we need to effectively pass on information, first and foremost.</p></blockquote>

<p>Ordered myself a custom iPhone case from the lovely people at <a href="http://www.getUncommon.com">getUncommon.com</a>! Decided to use my <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/judy_/4039794750/in/set-72157594272294606">bats </a>illustration from last halloween. You cant really tell from the image but the blue printed quite dark. As it&#8217;s supposed to be a night sky, i&#8217;m still quite pleased at the result. Case is sleek, and the headphone opening is large enough to fit my large sony plug. I&#8217;ll try docking it tonight and see if i have any problems. It feels nicer to hold than my last case which was a soft plastic Paperchase one similar to <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Paperchase-iPhone-Happy-Noodle-Design/dp/B00382YV3O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&#038;m=A25UKN2GV2CY2G&#038;s=generic&#038;qid=1275672358&#038;sr=1-2">this</a>. They included a 20% off coupon for my next case, which is always a wonderful way to make a customer feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I&#8217;m not sure which illustration i&#8217;ll use, i&#8217;m torn between:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/judy_/4648012947/" title="summer by judy., on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4038/4648012947_c121c9d029_m.jpg" height="186" alt="summer" /></a><br />
and<br />
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/judy_/3264369891/" title="vespa by judy., on Flickr"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1431/3264369891_80b9dfe3c6_m.jpg" width="240" height="186" alt="vespa" /></a> </p>
<p>Maybe i&#8217;ll go for broke and get them both! </p>
